The front and side planks are one of Dr. Scott’s FAVORITE exercises! Most people are familiar with the front plank, but the side plank is just as important (if not MORE important) to perform on a regular basis. Anyone that sits at a desk, slouches while driving, or doesn’t exercise their body regularly can benefit from these core exercises. The front and side planks are a great substitute for crunches – which can aggravate the lower back, causing pain and tightness! Perform the front and side planks every day to increase your core stability and strengthen ALL the muscles of your core.
